Question: What does it look like and what's the real stroy of this cryptid?

My Answer: Good evening Jersey Devil (well, its evening where I live that is). After a few Google searches and reading some very interesting, albeit spooky stories, I have compiled a good answer to both your questions. Lets start the latter question: what is the story of the cryptid known as the Jersey Devil?

The Jersey Devil originated from, well, New Jersey. Exactly where is for you to decide. As is how this creature came into being. One of the tales is about a woman named Janet Leeds who lived in Estelville, New Jeresy. This woman is pregnant with her 13th child. But after having 12 other children she is unhappy, and wishes for the baby to be the devil. Though she probably didn't mean it literally, none the less she got her wish. The baby was born with horns, a horse-like head, and long body and horse hooves as well as wings. It is said that the creature escaped through the chimney during a storm. By flying. Very creepy, almost horror-movie worthy if you ask me. Other similar tales place the location of birth at Leeds Point, New Jersey, and the mother's name being Mrs. Shroud. Another story (which I judge to being unrelated to the first two since it takes place later than the others) says that during the Revolutionary War, a young girl falls in love with a British soldier. In turn, the town curses her child, to which she ends up birthing the Jersey Devil.

Since the birthing of this creature (no matter which story you believe), there have been over 2,000 recorded sightings. There is a storyline to these stories, which I will now summarize:

   The town of Leed's Point, after the Devil is born, continued to be haunted by the beast, the beast having kidnapped and killed chickens, livestock, dogs, and even young children. It got to the point where grown men were afraid to go outside. So they called in a minister to exorcise the nearby Pine Barrens (a forest), where the people believed the creature lived. It was meant to last 100 years later. Which sorta-kinda worked, with only a few sightings during the 100 years. But sure enough, the sightings and encounters were being reported almost everdyay after the 100 year period was up. After a few weeks of constant schreeching, thumping, and glowing red eyes, the citizens of Leeds Point were so scared, it was unbelievable. around 1909, the sightings mysteriously ended, only to start again in 1927, and continues on till today, where there a few sightings but not as much as there used to be. So that's the story of the Jersey Devil, who by 1900 could be sighted in many more areas in New Jersey, including large sightings in Bristol and Burlington, even some sightings in Pennsylvannia and New York. Now, you asked for a picture or description of what this cryptid looks like. I found a very famous image of the creature, drawn based on descriptions given by eye witnesses.

Story: Hi, i am Breonna, and i am a medium. I can see, hear, and talk to spirits. But this i am confused about. One night it was about 6:30 in the morning, and i was half awake and i could feel someone running there hand over my face. The whole time they were wispering somthing in my ear that i couldnt understand. They woudl softly move there hand from my fore-head to my cheek. I just sat there, trying to listen to what they were saying, then it stopped. I couldnt feel anything anymore, i got up and looked around and no one was there.  I have thought alot about it, and i am not sure why it happened, or who it was.

My Response: lol did you get the pun in the title? Quite witty of me...ok not really.;) Ok, so you are a psychic medium, right? Very interesting. I have basic level knowledge on the abilities of medium, but I am not one myself. Are you sure you are not also a clairvoyant? I read or saw somewhrere that mediums have a good chance of being clairvoyant as well. A clairvoyant is a person who attracts spirits and ghosts. This may be a key factor. Tell me, do you recieve contacts from spirits on a regular basis, them finding you, or do you have to go and find or be drawn to their location? If it is the first one, then it is likely you attract them, meaning they probably want to talk to you or through and recieve help or something that will help them move on. Story: When I Moved 2 My House,I Saw Like Orbs.Some1 Died In My House.And I Also Got Bad Vibes From This 1 Thing,It Was A Mussuem.Ut Scared Me Soo Much.It Was Creepy 2!!1

My Response: Well I am glad you learned on your own that someone died in your house. Orbs are usually thought of as the simplest forms a spirit or ghost can take. So I wouldn't think of it as a threat. That is cool how you house used to be a museum! Anyway, the bad vibes might of been you sensing the entity. The orb might of been scared or angry at seeing you. If you have had any more trouble with this orb or other beings, please notify me and I will see what I can do.

Story: s\today i thought I saw  man standing next to my bed when I blinked it was gone do you think it was a ghost or am I just seeing things. I lived at my house for two years and nothing weird has happen before exept for the red dots in the bathroom

My Response: This time it may have been something paranormal. Try and find out if the house you live in used to be somewhere where someone died. If you continue to see things, and they don't go away, then tell me immediatly. I will be able to help you get rid of them.

There is also a chance you may be seeing things. If you are stressed, try and find time to unwind a little. Don't worry, it doesn't mean you are going crazy. Yoga and meditation work great as stress relief exercises. Speaking of exercise you can also try jogging, swimming, or riding a bike once a day or so.

Red Dot's Story: I was walking outside my bathroom when i looked inside I saw to red glowing dots I might of been seeing things.

My Response: You may have been seeing things. People see things like that when they get up to fast after having been sitting for awhile, or in a transition frmo a lighter to darker area or vice-versa. I call it becoming dazed. I don't if that is the real name for it, but has to do with the rod and cones in your eyes.

But if you continue to see two red dots, it may be something more paranormal. Keep me notified.

Story: Well...I was riding my bike home when i heard a hiss..i thought it was a cat (sounded like one)(and i love cats!Who doesn't?) so i got off my bike and walked over to where i thought i heard the sound i couldn't find that cat that mister fuzzums as i remember whanting to call him but just as i turned to leave i saw this large creature i couldn't identify..it was probaly like two feet and was like this big puff ball with no tail and a bluish sort of face...it was so...ugly...and i can't tell if the things sticking out of its head was horns or ears and it didn't have any claws or if i can tell i don't know if it had feet at all...maybe its fur was covering that? It was NO CAT! or maybe a walking pom pom.. seriously it was uuuggglyyy!

 Well Karren, I don't know what to say. At first I thought it was a joke, but now I think you may seen something strange. Lets look our choices:

When trying to prove something, the best thing to do first is to try and disprove it. You said it was really furry, like a puff ball, with horns or ears and a blueish face? It could have been black and the lighting in the area made it appear blue. This opens up the possibility of it being a hedgehog. Again, please give a general location of the sighting, such as state(if in U.S.) or country. Otherwise I will have no idea what lives in your area, and I won't do anything with this info. You can also recommend I keep your location private. Karren, I don't know of any cryptids that fit your description, but I will do some more research and get back to you on this. Hope this helps.

Story: Well as it goes Seensomethingstrange, i actually have a very amazing ghost story. My second cousin happens to own the oldest hotel in Florida, the Florida House Inn. Other than being the oldest hotel in Florida, the Florida House Inn is also one of the most haunted places in North America!
This summer we went to go visit my second cousin, Joe, and his family while vacationing near Fernandina Beach, Florida (the location of the Florida House Inn). During our conversations the subjects of paranormal activity arose. I had the chance to hear several stories of his.
Perhaps the most common story is that of room 16. Joe had several British film makers staying at the inn (room 16 to be exact) and Joe had scheduled breakfast with them the next morning of their stay. During breakfast one of the film makers leaned forward to Joe and asked very quietly "is our room haunted?" She continued to explain that during the late hours of the night that she awoke to a man and a child standing at the foot of her bed. She said that they didn't scare her and she just went back to sleep. After further research, Joe found that a few years back (sorry, i don't remember the actual year...) a boy and his father went out fishing and never came back. A week after the father and son where declared missing, a 15 foot alligator was caught in the very spot they where fishing. Joe tells me that guests are constantly telling him about strange experiences in room 16.
They told us several more stories of soldiers walking down the hall, banging on peoples' doors, brooms floating, and countless more stories of strange voices in the night, but Joe managed to save the best story for last...
One of the hall ways in the Florida House Inn has no windows or any source of additional lighting. Guests started complaining about the lack of light in the early morning when they needed to get somewhere. Joe soon put a small lamp on a table to provide guests with proper lighting. The morning after installing the lamp, Joe discovered unplugged. He plugged it back in and the next morning, what do you know, it is once again unplugged. This continued for several more weeks until one morning when Joe was inspecting the hall to see if the lamp was plugged in, not only was lamp unplugged, but the outlet was GONE!!! Electricians the next day confirmed their was NO ELECTRICAL WIRES RUNNING IN THE INTIRE HALL!!!

Just call me Investigator, not exactly shorter, but its better than seensomethingstrange.  Anyway, this has to be the most interesting ghost story I have recieved ever! I did some research and found that the hotel was once used as housing for officers of the North during the Civil War. That could explain the soldier aparitions. I don't think i can explain the electrical outlet problem though, that just baffles me. The voices could be from the bar (I read online that it had a bar), because according to reviews of the hotel by guests, you could here people talking and the band down at the bar because their voices reverberated off the walls in some rooms. Wait, I think I might just have an explanation for the outlet one! It could be that someone (or something) was messing with Joe, causing his mind to think there was an outlet there, when there wasn't, like seeing illusions or a mirage. Some prankster guest might have put a fake outlet there than came back after a few weeks and took off, or a paranormal entity (ghost prankster lol) was messin with him.

Form: My Mom told me she saw a UFO she was driving at night and she saw red lights she thought they it was a chicken coop with heating lights. So she drove off. The next day she drove by the same spot and it wasn't there.

My Response: I have been getting alot of UFO sightings from peoples' moms lately... Anyway, this might be a UFO, but it also could have just as easily have been an airplane or indeed just some lights on a chicken coops. I would need a more detailed description if you want me to go into any further speculation.
